Entry Requirement Update for Travelers to Ecuador

From all of us at Seaman Journey, we'd like to inform you that as of May 12, 2025, there will be a new health regulation that may affect your clients' upcoming travel plans.
What's Changing?
Ecuador's Ministry of Public Health has announced that all travelers must present an International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever if they meet any of the following criteria:
Applies to:
- Citizens or residents of Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, or Brazil
- Travelers who stayed in or transited through any of those countries for more than 10 days prior to arriving in Ecuador
Vaccination Guidelines:
- The Yellow Fever vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before travel
- The certificate must be presented upon arrival in Ecuador
